Bruce Tuttle is a 30-year real estate veteran on Hilton Head
My love for Hilton Head Island began more than 50 years ago, with the first of many sojourns to South Carolina’s coast beginning when my grandmother purchased a home in Sea Pines Plantation in 1968. The majestic natural surroundings, laidback Lowcountry lifestyle and deep-rooted local history made it an easy decision to call the island my permanent home in 1979.
This unique perspective of vacationer turned property owner, I feel, sets me apart as a real estate agent who has an innate understanding of homeowners’ needs. I have been a real estate agent for more than 30 years. My specialties include:
• the “lock-and-leave” lifestyle of Ocean Palms Villas for the frequent visitor;
• investment properties giving owners casual income along with their “piece of paradise”;
• second homes that emphasize convenience and privacy for family and friends;
• and full-time residences for those craving the permanent beach life.
As a trusted REALTOR and Associate Broker for Hilton Head Properties Realty & Rentals, I can show clients a turnkey process for all property owner lifestyles. This includes full-service real estate sales for buyers and sellers, a vacation rental property management office, and our “Absentee By The Sea” home maintenance services.
I take a great deal of pride in my extensive local knowledge, partly attributed to my love for Hilton Head Island’s long, meandering history that dates back well before the Revolutionary War. I think this passion for history is evident with my recollections of local facts, important figures, 3rd party stories, and visiting off-the-beaten-path places with clients looking for that “special” island getaway.
This foot-shaped island in the heart of the Lowcountry has become an important part of my life’s story. I married my wife Hailey in 2010 on the roof of the Harbour Town Yacht Club with beautiful views of the marina, the iconic candy-striped Harbour Town lighthouse and Calibogue Sound. We have a wonderful home overlooking a tidal creek and marsh in Hilton Head Plantation. When Hailey and I aren’t taking long walks on the beach at sunset with the newest member of the family, our Goldendoodle named Cash, we are enjoying all the natural amenities the island has to offer. Best of all, we are enjoying the fantastic Hilton Head community and all our life-long friends.
Prior to moving to the island full time, I grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with degree in business. My promise to all my customers and clients, if I don’t have the answer to your question I know who to call to get it!
